The iPad is, among other things, a great gaming device. Dutch app developer iSignz today has launched the game “Achtung”. A simple and addictive multiplayer game in which players have to eliminate each other by making smart moves. Achtung can be played with up to 4 friends.

Everyone knows the classic game Snake from their old cell phone. Think of “Achtung” as the classic game Snake in multiplayer battle mode. Corner your opponents and make them crash. Stay alive as long as you can.

Players battle over several rounds. In the end the player with the most points wins. It’s that easy. The game enables adjustment of the number of rounds, music and speedsettings. The iPad version can hold from 2 up to 4 players. Special thanks go out to creators of this 1995 DOS classic: Filip Oscadal and Kamil Dolezal. The name “Achtung” means “watch out” in German.
